Volunteers Needed for Bicycle & Pedestrian Counts

Twice per year, MORPC scatters volunteers across the region to collect counts of bicyclists and pedestrians. The information is valuable in future planning and funding needs for bike/ped accomodations.
Next count is Wednesday, September 9th, 2009 – 7:00-9:00 AM and 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
No special skills are required for this citywide pedestrian and bicycle counting project. The count is part of a national effort to improve documentation of non-motorized transportation usage and demand.
