On behalf of Ira Weiss, the chair of the Development Committee, I invite you to the Development Committee this coming Tuesday, June 10 at 3:00 pm at my house. Items for discussion: Outline a Comprehensive Development (Fundraising) Plan which would include funding sources via grants, memberships, individual donations, sponsorship/corporate support, and special events. Outline messaging for a Case Statement…which should make the following easy - Review Membership messaging and finalize brochure & membership campaign If you have interest in supporting Consider Biking with work on this leadership committee, please contact me directly at jeff@considerbiking.org or 579-1127. Can you believe what Consider Biking has done with Bike to Work Week in just a few short months? Want to contribute to our cycling community with great events? The Consider Biking Programming Committee is the place for you! We are responsible for all events coordinating and participation for Consider Biking. We are driven by creativity, inclusion, and authenticity. We'll help you make your great ideas a reality, or get you plugged in to support other activities. Committee members must be able to attend regular meetings, be open-minded and inclusive, and committed to making Columbus a vibrant city for cyclists.
