Commuting this time of year requires more attention to safety and comfort. We&#8217;ll discuss our recommendations on how to set up your bike for riding through the winter.</p>
<p>This clinic covers seasonal equipment and lighting, covering all you need for road or mountain riding as well as commuting as the clocks go forward and the temperatures start to go backwards! Great preparation and a few simple accessories can make all the difference for a safe and enjoyable fall riding season.</p>

Tips on the items needed (and how to use them!) to train indoors during the short days of winter.<br />

<p>Three of our area&#8217;s newest League of American Bicyclists Certified Cycling Instructors (Jamie Fellrath, Meredith Joy &amp; Kenneth Cohen) will be jointly teaching a 6-hour, unabridged course for those who are already reasonably comfortable with mechanicals and riding on city streets.&nbsp; It will cover both on and off bicycle exercise dealing with cycling skills; emergency maneuvers; route and clothing selection; inclement and cold weather riding and other items a competent bicycle commuter needs to know. This lab involves riding on major Columbus arterials after sunset.</p>
